My stepdaughter Cristina is in town with essentially all her family. Today was the only day available to get out on a trip with the entire clan.

For this trip we had:

Cristina & her husband Devon

Oldest grandson Tyler with his SO Megan

Next oldest grandson Bryan with his SO Lindsay

One & only granddaughter Aliyah

Youngest grandson Scotty

Tyler & Bryan really wanted to fish, and Cristina really wanted just a day out on the water with the whole family.

The weather was not the greatest, but it was the only day when everyone would be in town at the same time, so we had to go regardless of the weather.

As I have mentioned before I am woefully behind in sorting through all the photos and videos that have been sent to me, so for the time being I am only posting a map from my Garmin InReach that shows our track for the day's adventure.

The area circled in blue is just inside Clover Pass where we stopped and set the trolling gear out. Cristina got a bit sea sick on the ride out there and I was looking for calmer waters for her sake.

After some unsuccessful trolling we pulled the trolling gear and ran a bit further north to the area marked with a blue square. There we dropped the anchor and did some bottom fishing in very calm waters. I think only a couple of Rock Cod were caught there before we had to pull anchor and head in.

We pulled the anchor at 4:15 PM and headed in, arriving into the harbor at 6:45 PM.

We logged 37.8 nm for this trip.

I must say that pulling the spare anchor (which is not on a winch) with the buoy pull system is far easier with 2 big strapping strong young men to help. I used to pull it all by myself but I am no longer able to do that.

I will add some photos & videos to this post once I have time to sort through them all and figure out what I have.
